Job Description

Manpower, Inc. of SE Michigan is currently seeking a Staffing Specialist/Recruiter to join our team in Ann Arbor!  This is a full-time, internal position that starts immediately.

Location: West Ann Arbor (off Jackson Road between Wagner & Zeeb)
 
Compensation: Based on experience

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Full-cycle recruiting (composing job postings, sourcing candidates, reviewing applications, prescreening/interviewing candidates, onboarding/orientating candidates).
• Answering high volume incoming calls and placing outgoing calls.
• Communicating regularly with clients regarding job orders and openings.
• Handling employee relations amongst temporary workforce including performance management, counseling, and terminations.
• Conducting regular sales calls over the phone and in person.
• Participating in hiring events and sales events.
• Providing additional administrative support as needed. 

Here’s What You Need To Apply:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one (1) year of previous customer service, recruiting, sales, or appropriate business experience preferred.
• Friendly and outgoing personality.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.
• Highly organized and good attention to detail.
• Strong documentation and recordkeeping skills.
• Good computer skills including typing/data entry, MS Outlook, Word, and Excel – experience with O365 and/or SharePoint a plus!
• The ability to re-prioritize and shift workload as needed to ensure the most urgent and important tasks are attended to.
• Previous recruiting, sales, or HR experience not required but helpful.
• Ability to meet pre-employment screening including a drug screen, criminal background check, and vaccine requirements.
