Job Title: Life Insurance Underwriter Specialist
Location: Remote (Latin America)
Schedule: TBD 
Compensation: $2,750 - $3,500 USD/month + 10% performance-based bonus

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Life Insurance Underwriter to join our team. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in life insurance underwriting, particularly those with U.S. experience, who are ready to bring their expertise and high potential to a growing and dynamic team.

• Underwrite life insurance applications, assess risk, and determine coverage and premiums for policies.
• Review and analyze financial and medical data to make informed underwriting decisions.
• Work closely with internal teams to provide high-quality service and support to clients.
• Maintain and manage a portfolio of cases with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Utilize data analysis tools (familiarity with these tools is a plus) to enhance underwriting processes and decision-making.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in English, both written and verbal, to liaise with clients and colleagues across the U.S. and other international teams.

• Experience:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years in life insurance underwriting, with at least 1 year of experience working with a U.S.-based company.
  • Strong knowledge of life insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk assessment.
  • Experience in data analysis tools is a plus, but not required.
• Skills:
  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal) are essential.
  • High IQ, strong problem-solving abilities, and a “go-getter” attitude are valued.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Location:
  • Preference for candidates located in Argentina, Uruguay, or Brazil.
  • Strong preference for candidates who are familiar with or have worked in the U.S. insurance market.
