Description:
JOB PURPOSE: Designs and implements strategic internal and/or external communications to drive stakeholder engagement. Stakeholders may include employees, physicians, leaders, board members, donors or other community members including the general public. Responsible for the creation and execution of project-level communications plans and strategies which may include writing and editing, creating presentations, leader talking points and/or media engagement. Works closely with other team members and staff to provide communication strategy, planning, consultation and support.
Qualifications:MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Bachelors degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Resources or other related field.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Three (3) years of professional work experience creating internal and/or external communications.
MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: None.
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS: Experience translating medical and technical information into simple terms. Healthcare experience preferred. Strong project management skills and the ability to look at the big picture and meet communication needs of varied audiences.
