SSM Health Physical Therapy is seeking a dynamic Pediatrics full-time Speech Pathologist to join our amazing Outpatient team!

Be a part of a dynamic pediatric multidisciplinary team at our beautiful and remodeled clinic off of West Florissant! Our team works together to treat children ages 6 months to 21 years with a variety of diagnoses including expressive and receptive language delay, phonological disorders, dysfluency, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, and feeding concerns. We are seeking someone who is comfortable administering CELF, PLS, GFTA, and REEL. Comfort treating feeding concerns is preferred, but not mandatory. On-site training is provided, as well as the ability to regularly collaborate with our established treatment team.

• Evaluates all assigned patients and develops, implements, and modifies treatment plan in accordance with the patient’s need and physician direction.
• Responsible for delegation and direction of all discipline specific therapy services for those assigned patients.
• Ensures design of functional treatment programs allowing for effective return to community activities.
• Serves as an educator of patients, families, students, coworkers and self.
• Performs other professional duties associated with the care of the patient, development of discipline specific therapy services and design of program delivery.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Therapy required
2. Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist required
3. Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American speech-Language & Hearing Association or eligibility for Certification pending professional experience required.
4. Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification
