Five years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
Six years of full-time work experience in any field plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
A bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services; OR
An advanced degree or a Juris Doctorate plus one year of experience in developing, managing, or evaluating health or social service programs; or in public health, public relations, social services, health services, health regulation, or administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field.

Examples of Work
Program Monitor Position Description 40% Assists with coordination, management and implementation of services in home and community based waivers for persons with intellectual/developmental disabilities and behavioral health needs. Collaborates across different sections within OCDD, as assigned by supervisor and OCDD Executive Management Team, to accomplish these tasks. Coordinates and maintains Office internal monitoring and tracking for these activities. Provides a report out to supervisor on a monthly basis on all activities.
25% Monitors expenditures made through Section 9817 American Rescue Plan Act for this activity. Provides quarterly updates for the spending plan narrative due to Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services
(CMS) for this activity. Provides actual expenditures and projected expenditures for this activity, by reviewing Medicaid utilization and other data to inform this activity.
25% Implements provider recruitment strategies to address resource and service needs. This includes identification of current providers statewide and recruitment to focus on home- and community-based waiver services. Assists providers with enrollment in these programs and conducts routine monitoring to assess quality of services offered.
10% Assists with engagement with community partners. This includes establishing meeting locations, ensuring communications to relevant partners, establishing agenda and minutes for engagement, and assisting with facilitation of meetings.
