Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in painting techniques and materials with the ability to work on various projects including auto painting and industrial applications. This role requires attention to detail mechanical knowledge and the ability to handle materials safely and efficiently.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning sanding and applying primer as necessary.
• Apply paint using various techniques including airless paint spraying and traditional methods.
• Operate cranes and other equipment safely while moving materials as needed.
• Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate application of paint and coatings.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area adhering to safety protocols at all times.
• Perform minor repairs and maintenance on tools and equipment used in the painting process.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.

Experience

• Proven experience in painting with a focus on auto painting preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical knowledge related to tools and equipment used in the painting process.
• Experience in materials handling ensuring safe transport and storage of paints and supplies.
• Ability to use hand tools effectively along with basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Knowledge of welding is a plus but not required.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse or similar environment is beneficial.
