While prior legal experience isn't required, we are looking for someone who: • Is eager to learn and can quickly adapt to new tasks and responsibilities. • Works well independently and can manage their time effectively. • Is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a high volume of tasks. This is a part-time, task-oriented position that will require you to: • Manage administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and document management. • Assist the case operations team with day-to-day tasks, ensuring that everything runs smoothly with a large caseload. • Communicate with clients and other team members to keep everyone informed and on track. The position offers a pay range of $15 to $20 per hour, depending on experience, with a 90-day probationary period. You must reside in Colorado and have the ability to report to the Colorado Springs office for the first 90 days of employment. This is a part-time work-from-home job where you are expected to support a large caseload. Responsibilities: • Complete legal research as needed under the supervision of attorneys and paralegals • Undertake other duties as needed to ensure the firm operates efficiently • Correspond with clients about their case status • Schedule appointments and manage calendars • Assist in legal document preparation and filing • Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information and documents • Other duties as assigned Qualifications: • Applicants must be able to type 50 words per minute or faster • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines with quick turnaround times • Associate’s degree, or some college is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is necessary • Candidate must reside in Colorado and have the ability to commute to Colorado Springs office during the 90-day probationary period • Able to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environment • Proficient with MS Office products • Candidates should have strong organizational skills and communication skills About Company: Joyner Law is a veteran-owned law firm that seeks to guide people facing some of their worst moments through the court system.
