Nurse Manager - Operating Room
West Los Angeles, CA
$150,000 – $200,000 + Signing Bonus + Paid Relocation

Manages 24-hour departments providing patient care services. Ensures staff provide high quality, accessible, cost effective care, and patient focused services to members across the continuum, which comply with local, state, and federal requirements. Develops and maintains clinical standards of care and practice; responsible for all resource budgeting, selection and development.
Must Have:
-BSN
-Exp in Operating Room nursing
-Charge Nurse or ANM exp

There are 13 OR RN's, approximately 47 direct reports, average 1,100 cases/month. Surgery types: general, ENT, GYN, robotic, bariatric, plastic & reconstructive, ortho, joints, sports medicine, and gender re-assignment. No spine, hearts, or neuro cases performed at this location.

Required (non-negotiable)

• At minimum candidate needs to have 5 years of FT equivalent OR RN experience. No ambulatory surgery center experience will be accepted. Experience must be current or very recent.
• At minimum candidate needs to have 3 years of FT equivalent OR Manager or Supervisor experience. Charge Nurse experience doesn’t meet this requirement. Minimal ambulatory surgery center experience may be accepted. Experience must be current or very recent.

Preferred

• MSN.
• CNOR.
• Management experience in a union environment.
