Salary Range: $19.10+ daily incentive pay based on the number

National Fuel has immediate, full-time openings for a Meter Reader in our Operations Department. Candidates must be available to work in the Buffalo Metropolitan Area as well as other locations within our Western New York service territory. I

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Accurately and efficiently read residential and commercial gas meters
• Work outdoors extensively in all types of weather and walk for long distances
• Handle customer inquiries and perform collection work
• Identify and report meter irregularities and report safety hazards
• Work in potentially hazardous environments such as dark basements, roof tops or industrial facilities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
• Available to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Saturday between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm.
• Drive a small company truck or van

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
This is a position within the Company’s collective bargaining unit with an hourly rate of pay of $19.10 plus daily incentive pay based on the number of meters read.

The successful candidate will be required to pass a DOT mandated drug test, as well as participate in random drug testing.
