Job Description

Laundry Attendant The Laundry Attendant is responsible for washing/drying/folding/storing all bed linens, towels, pillows and anything else from the guest rooms. They are also responsible for assisting with inventory control and ordering of supplies when requested. The cleanliness of the laundry area including restrooms and helping to do basic preventative maintenance on the washers and dryers is their responsibility. Ultimately, you will ensure a pleasant and comfortable experience for our guests during their stay with us. Benefits:

Essential Functions:

• Clean laundry area and employee restrooms
• Wash, dry, fold and store all clean linens and guest room supplies
• Help with the stripping of linens from guest rooms when possible
• Assist other departments as needed
• Deliver supplies to other employees or guests when possible
• Follow hotel security guidelines
• Get permission from supervisor or manager before clocking out

Education, Experience, Other Requirements: Required

• Flexibility to work in shifts and report for scheduled shifts
• Ability to work with little or no supervision while meeting high-performance standards
• Excellent organization skills
• Ability to follow instructions

Preferred

• High School Diploma
• Work experience as a Room Attendant or Maid
• Experience with hotel cleaning standards and products
