Job Title: Landscape Manager

Location: Memphis, TN (Local Candidates Only)

Reports To: Owner

Job Summary: The Landscape Manager oversees the planning, design, and maintenance of landscaping projects. This role involves managing a team of landscape professionals, ensuring high-quality service, and maintaining client satisfaction. The Landscape Manager coordinates with clients, schedules projects, and ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Management:
• Plan, organize, and oversee landscaping projects from inception to completion.
• Develop project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to client specifications.
• Team Leadership:
• Supervise and manage a team of landscape workers, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
• Provide direction and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Conduct regular team meetings to communicate project goals and progress.
• Client Relations:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Conduct site assessments and develop landscaping plans that meet client preferences and site conditions.
• Provide estimates and proposals, negotiate contracts, and ensure client satisfaction.
• Operational Management:
• Oversee the maintenance and operation of landscaping equipment and tools.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of project activities, expenses, and client communications.
• Quality Assurance:
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and specifications.
• Implement best practices for landscaping and horticulture to achieve high-quality results.
• Address any issues or deficiencies promptly to maintain project integrity.
• Sustainability and Innovation:
• Promote sustainable landscaping practices and environmentally friendly solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices to enhance service offerings.
• Implement innovative design and maintenance techniques to improve efficiency and aesthetics.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience as a Landscape Manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plants, and horticulture.
• Excellent project management and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and client service skills.
• Proficiency with landscaping software and tools.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Work Environment:

• Combination of office and outdoor work environments.
• Exposure to various weather conditions.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor as needed.

Pay: $45,000.00 - $56,000.00 per year
