Housekeeping Aid (On-Call)

• Must be available 7 days a week for coverage of all 3 shifts

Location : Keller Army Community Hospital, West Point, NY

What You’ll Do:

As a Housekeeping Aid, you will be responsible for cleaning and supplying various areas, including patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, and offices. Your work will ensure that the hospital remains clean, safe, and sanitary, adhering to the highest standards of infection control and safety.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Daily cleaning of patient rooms, common areas, and offices.
• Using cleaning equipment and supplies to sanitize hospital spaces.
• Adhering to hospital safety protocols, infection control measures, and customer service standards.
• Assisting with other housekeeping duties as needed to support the hospital’s mission.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Experience – Hospital housekeeping is preferred, but not required.
• English Proficiency – Must be able to speak, read, and write English to communicate effectively with supervisors and government personnel.
• Flexible Availability – Must be available to work all shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Team Player – Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness.

Preferred Qualifications :

• High school diploma or equivalent.

Other Requirements :

• Applicants will undergo a federal background check.
• Applicants will undergo a medical exam and vaccine clearance.
• Applicants must legally live in the country greater than 3 years.
