Perfect Attendance Bonus up to $100 per pay period. Starts day one of employment. The Holiday Inn Express First and Main is currently looking for hardworking, energetic and passionate people to join our team in the role of Laundry Attendant / Housekeeping. This is a Part-Time/Full Time opportunity working in both laundry and housekeeping department. The salary range for this position is $15.50- $18.20 per hour based on previous work experience. Weekends are a must.

Job Summary: The purpose of the Laundry Attendant is to provide the highest level of service to our guests by ensuring that the hotel’s guest room linens are kept clean and in excellent condition in accordance with IHG Standards. Shifts start at 8:45 AM
Responsibilities - Sort, wash, dry and fold all hotel linen and towels
- Use properly all soaps, chemicals and equipment for cleaning linen and towels
- Clean laundry equipment, vent screens, drains traps and lint filters
- Maintain and rotate a supply of clean linen and towels
- Assist Director of Housekeeping in monthly linen and towels inventory
- Assist Director of Housekeeping in monthly soap and chemical inventory
- Maintain the linen discard log on a daily or weekly basis
- Keep the laundry room, housekeeping office and housekeeping storage areas clean and organized
- Clean suites/rooms when needed
- Operate housekeeping and laundry equipment in correct and safe manner
- Clean assigned suites/rooms according to Systems Standards, this includes making beds, cleaning bathrooms, vacuuming carpet, washing dishes, and dusting furniture
- Place and restock usable items in the suites according to Systems Standards including paper items, soap, towels, matches and candy
- Clean immediate exterior entry areas and windows, according to Systems Standards
- Maintain and restock housekeeping cart each day
- Complete maintenance work orders and deliver to Inspector or designated area in a timely manner
- Accommodate guest special requests courteously
- Answer guest questions regarding the hotel and local area facilities and services
Requirements - High School Diploma/GED Preferred
- Hospitality experience Preferred
- Must be able to stand for up to 6-8 hours daily
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds alone
- Must be able to work weekends.
