Are you interested in a job where you can help keep things running smoothly behind the scenes? We’re looking for a Health Information Management Representative to join our team. You’ll play a key role in supporting our healthcare operations to ensure our patients receive the best care possible.

What You’ll Do:

As a Health Information Management Representative, your job is to make sure that all our patient records are accurate and up-to-date. Here are some of the things you’ll be doing:

• Entering Patient Information: You’ll input important details about our patients into our system.
• Processing Referrals: Helping to manage the paperwork when patients need to see other specialists.
• Getting Additional Records: Sometimes we need more information to take care of our patients, and you’ll help us get it.
• Managing Medical Records: Making sure that all patient records are organized and easy to find.
• Scanning Records: Putting paper records into our computer system when needed.
• Calling Patients: Sometimes you’ll call patients to check that we have their correct information.
• Handling Faxes: You’ll work with our team to manage incoming faxes.
• Helping Patients: Sending letters or making calls to follow up with patients when necessary.
• Special Projects: You might also work on special assignments to help improve how we do things.
• Other Duties: There may be other tasks assigned to you from time to time to support our team.

What You Need:

• Education and Experience: We prefer someone with an Associate Degree from an accredited school and some experience in healthcare. If you don’t have a degree, we’ll consider your experience instead.
• Skills: You should be good at learning new things and using computers. It’s important to be organized and manage your time well.
• Characteristics: We value people who are accountable, compassionate, excellent in their work, honest, inclusive, and care about our environment.
