OPERATIONS Operations is a dynamic, multi-faceted division that partners with all parts of the firm to provide banking, securities, and asset management services to clients around the world. In addition, Operations provides essential risk management and controls to preserve and enhance the firm's assets and its reputation. For every new product launched and every trade executed, it is Operations that develops and manages the processes and controls that enable business flow.
OUR IMPACT Global Markets Operational Risk (GMOR) has created a team focused specifically on Unauthorized Trading across GBM and Corporate Treasury. This team is responsible for creating a new suite of analytical and investigation capabilities aimed at early detection and escalation of potential unauthorized trading, by inspecting control exceptions and anomalous activity patterns across the pre-trade, trade, and post-trade lifecycle. Additionally, this function will deploy a targeted control testing program to evaluate the effectiveness of the UT control suite. GMOR UT team leads initiatives in close partnership with multiple business unit teams across the Global Markets Division (GMD) to implement high quality BI solutions and Data Analytics to meet these business goals, resulting in the ability to use financial analytics to make data-driven decisions and suggestions.
The team is seeking a skilled professional who will help build and review best in class analytics, connecting control points across the division to create a more robust view of Traders activity. This team will then use the resulting connected data to investigate potential instances of unauthorized trading, and subsequently creating and maintaining reporting. In this role you will apply data analysis, problem solving, and investigation skills across GBM and Corporate Treasury. You will also play a key role in suggesting and implementing process improvements for the team to mitigate risks and enhance the overall tooling.

- Collaborate with various subject matter experts to present concise business insights to help make data driven decisions.
- Leverage your innovative, problem solving, and data analytical skills to connect data across GBM and CT, creating best in class data.
- Analyze resulting data analytics and trend analysis to identify anomalies for investigation.
Basic Qualifications
- Analytical, self-motivated, detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work within a high-risk environment, meet challenging deadlines and targets, and clearly communicate.
- Highly motivated self-starter who can provide thought leadership in data science.
- Strong sense of ownership and driven to manage tasks to completion.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an Operations control environment or in support of a Trading organization
- Working knowledge about financial markets and associated processes, including the lifecycle of a trade
- Experience in data analytics

Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
