Salary/Pay Rate/Compensation:
- Pay range starts at $21/hour for entry level; wages are higher for candidates with prior experience
- $2.00 shift differential for evening hours

What’s a typical day as a Forklift Operator (Line Driver)? You’ll be:
• Reviewing production schedules and related information and conferring with department supervisors to determine material requirements, identify overdue materials, and track material
• Requisitioning material and establishing sequential delivery dates to departments, according to job order priorities and material availability
• Examining material delivered to production departments to verify conformance to specifications
• Arranging in-plant transfer of materials to meet production schedules and computing the amount of material required to complete job orders
• Compiling and maintaining manual or computerized records such as material inventory, in-process production reports, and status and location of materials
• Operating a forklift to safely and efficiently move materials within the warehouse and load/unload trucks
• Inspecting the forklift before initial use and filling and maintaining all propane tanks and accessories
• Moving or transporting materials from one department to another and arranging for repair and assembly of material or parts
• Monitoring and controlling movement of material

This job might be an outstanding fit if you:
• Have a High School Diploma or equivalent
• Have 1+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• Have 1+ years of experience operating a forklift
• Have knowledge of OSHA Safety Standards and Regulations
• Have a strong understanding of OSHA regulations
• Possess a high regard for safety in the workplace

Preferred Qualifications:
• Certified Forklift Operator License
• RF Scanning experience
