Position Summary

We are seeking a Part-Time EDI Accountant to work 3-5 hours per week , supporting our financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with experience in EDI-related bookkeeping and proficiency in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and EDI tools, such as Datatrans. This role is responsible for recording and managing financial transactions that are exchanged electronically using EDI to automate the accounting process.

Position Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee EDI-related bookkeeping tasks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Utilize QBO and Datatrans for financial record-keeping and reporting.
• Provide financial insights and assist in streamlining accounting processes.
• Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless financial operations.
• Performs other related responsibilities as assigned or required.

Required Skills and Abilities

• Strong analytical skills, exceptional integrity, and excellent presentation skills. 
• Proven experience in accounting and bookkeeping, particularly with EDI.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and EDI tools, such as Datatrans.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Is a team player who is proactive, flexible, results-oriented and comfortable in a rapidly changing environment.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a part-time, remote hourly position of approximately 3-5 hours per week.
