Woods & Recruitment have partnered with an exciting firm in their search for a Draftsperson to join their ranks. With over 20 years combined management experience, this construction consulting company focuses on providing a detailed focus on BIM Management.


As a Draftsperson , you will leverage off your 2-3 years’ experience to assist in the creation of technical drawings, blueprints, review and revise drawings, the maintenance of accurate records and more. What do you do?

  • Produce precise technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics according to specifications provided by engineers and architects.
  • Utilize a range of software tools including 3ds Max, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, SolidWorks, and Grasshopper to develop both 2D and 3D models with accuracy.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams to ensure drawings align with project requirements and adhere to deadlines.
  • Review and refine drawings based on feedback received from engineers, architects, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all drawings and revisions for documentation purposes.
  • Assist in compiling design documentation, including material lists and specifications.
  • Conduct thorough research to gather necessary data for drawing creation.

What do you need?

  • Based in Arizona.
  • Demonstrated experience in a Drafter or similar role, showcasing proficiency in drafting software like 3ds Max, Sketchup, ArchiCAD, SolidWorks, Grasshopper, etc.
  • Solid understanding of technical drawing principles and practices, coupled with familiarity with graphic design concepts and tools.
  • Ability to translate engineering and architectural designs into accurate drawings with precision.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work consistently.
  • Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge of building codes and regulations is advantageous.
  • Preferred experience with Bluebeam or similar document management software.
