Who we’re looking for:

ARC Document Solutions is searching for a detail-oriented and motivated Document Scanning Technician to join our team. As a Document Scanning Technician, you will play a critical role in digitizing and organizing documents, ensuring they are easily accessible and accurately maintained.

In this role you will:

• Operate high-quality scanning equipment to convert physical documents into digital format.
• Organize, sort, and prepare documents for scanning, ensuring they are handled with care.
• Follow quality control procedures to ensure the accuracy of scanned documents.
• Ensure the confidentiality and security of sensitive information throughout the scanning process.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on scanning equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a productive and efficient workflow.
• Assist in quality control by verifying the accuracy and completeness of scanned documents.
• Monitor and manage scanning projects to meet deadlines and client expectations.
• Safeguard and maintain the integrity of digital files and databases.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
• Keeping equipment clean at all times to assure our products are delivered in the highest quality to our customer.
• Notifying the supervisor immediately if any equipment malfunctions or deviates from the established quality control parameters.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in document management is a plus.
• Prior experience operating document scanning equipment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with customers and co-workers.
• Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
• A working knowledge of software applications such as Outlook, Word, Excel, Adobe, or a willingness to learn.
