Job Description

As a Full-Time  Pharmacy Delivery Driver at A&E Pharmacy, you will work to ensure that all pharmaceutical deliveries are made in a safe, efficient and effective manner from our in-house pharmacy to long-term care senior living sites. In this position, you will be responsible for delivering medications to long-term care facilities while also performing essential computer tasks, including scanning orders and ensuring accuracy prior to delivery. 

As a Delivery Driver, You Will Get To:

• Safely and efficiently deliver medications to long-term care sites while adhering to safety and traffic regulations.
• Utilize pharmacy software to verify and update deliveries, scan medication orders prior to delivery, and to communicate with staff about any discrepancies with pharmacy orders.
• Perform other duties around the pharmacy when directed by management.

Shift: 1:00pm to 9:00pm (afternoon/ evening) plus weekends.

Job Type: Full Time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour 

Required Qualifications:

• Must possess a current and valid driver's license
• Must possess and maintain a clear driving record
• Must be able to communicate in English
• Previous experience using basic internet map programs such as Google Maps
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in pharmacy or healthcare is a plus.
• Proficient in using computers and pharmacy software.
• Must be able to be physically active for entire shift, as well as stand for intermittent periods of time.
• Posess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
