Role: Cyber Security Analyst
Duration: Until 6/30/25 with possibility of extension.
Location: Madison, WI- Remote
If selected hire is located in WI, they will follow the hybrid
Interview Process: Via Teams for out of state candidates and possibly in-person for local candidates.
The Cyber Security Analyst II will have many day-to-day activities ranging from proactive to reactive including but not limited to:
Proactively determine use cases and policies to effectively manage threats (implement and test) as they emerge to optimize the security posture.
Work collaboratively with IT Applications, Systems and End user device staff as well as the Department of Administration Division of Enterprise Technology (DET) to integrate and test security processes and controls.
Respond to incidents involving Systems, Desktops and Mobile devices and their applications.
Report out on all activities to IT Leadership so security priorities can be set.
