SUMMARY: This flexible, part-time, temporary/contract role is responsible for full cycle recruitment activities for our corporate and production positions, partnering with leaders and HR to define talent needs, source and attract qualified candidates and effectively recruit for positions across the organization – from hourly production to management roles. Develop strategies to effectively attract talent for the organization while providing a great candidate experience.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Owns full cycle recruitment efforts for open positions to ensure positive candidate experience: work with hiring manager and HR to gather position requirements and develop an understanding of department and organizational needs. Ensure job description is current and compelling to desirable candidates, that job req is approved, then effectively source and prescreen candidates.
  • Manage selection process, including interview coordination and scheduling, leading candidate debrief sessions with hiring managers and HR, ensuring completion of reference and background check processes and delivering approved employment offers.
  • Recommends and manages recruitment strategies that will contribute to finding and securing top talent: networking, building a candidate pipeline, etc. to ensure flow of qualified candidates for key roles.
  • Coordinates with internal resources regarding onboarding to ensure new hire is set up with all necessary tools and resources to ensure positive onboarding experience.
  • Tracks recruitment metrics to measure sourcing strategies and effectiveness (time to fill, applicant tracking by source, etc.)
  • Identifies opportunities for department improvements and improvement/automation of processes, specifically within HRIS system and ATS.
  • Participate in or lead special HR and recruitment related projects/processes as needed or requested; other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business or Organization Development, Communications or equivalent work experience required.
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle recruitment experience, preferably experience with both hourly production and technical professional roles including engineering, software development, technical sales, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively source, attract and secure quality candidates through multiple recruitment channels including direct reach-out to passive and qualified candidates, networking, Indeed, LinkedIn Recruiter, Employee Referrals, Career Fairs, Professional and College partnerships, etc.
  • Proven exceptional organization and communication skills, with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Word and Excel and ATS system.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence others and confidently and proactively build relationships internally and externally.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve candidate, hiring manager and HR organization experiences with recruitment process and makes recommendations for implementation
  • Self-starter committed to delivering the highest in customer service, quality and results either independently or part of a team.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Lifting requirements up to 10 pounds.
  • Requires sitting for periods of time.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Remote work opportunity.
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment. Minimal noise.
  • Our Minnesota facility includes a manufacturing environment. Moderate noise level. Machinery operation requires the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to; safety glasses, hearing protection, wrist and shoe straps, and ESD smock. Loose fitting clothing and jewelry are not permitted. No food allowed in the manufacturing area. No cell phone use allowed in manufacturing area unless approved by management.
