POSITION TITLE: Controller BENEFITS: Standard Package COMPENSATION: Competitive Salary + DOE LOCATION: Tyler, Texas SUMMARY: This dual-role position is essential for managing financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and ensuring smooth day-to-day office operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong accounting skills and prior experience in an oil & gas services environment.

DUTIES OR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports Oversee accounts payable and receivable Manage payroll processing and related compliance tasks Develop and monitor budgets and financial forecasts Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including tax laws and DOT requirements Implement and refine office procedures and administrative workflows Supervise office staff and support functions as the company grows Work closely with leadership to maintain financial health and operational efficiency

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller or Office Manager role Prior experience in the oil & gas services industry strongly preferred Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and knowledge of the full Microsoft Office Suite Knowledge of DOT transportation and pipeline regulations Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities ***PLEASE NOTE: We try to respond to everyone who applies for our jobs, but in periods of high activity it may not be possible.
