Job Summary:
We are partnering with a small government contracting company to find a skilled Bookkeeper. As the Bookkeeper, you will manage various accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliations, journal entries, and expense reports. This fully remote position offers an exciting opportunity for candidates with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, proficiency in MS Office, and ERP expertise.

Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable, ensuring accuracy in month-end entries, reconciliations, and vendor management.
- Maintain precise financial records through diligent management of bank and credit card accounts, invoices, and expense reports.
- Oversee government contracts by handling invoicing and compliance adherence.
- Conduct meticulous account reconciliations as part of monthly closing procedures.

Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of progressive bookkeeping experience.
- Proficiency with ERP systems, preferably JAMIS Prime.
- Familiarity with government consulting, invoicing, and reporting portals is advantageous.
- Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Google Docs.
- This position allows for remote work from the following states: DC, MD, VA, NC, FL, MA, OH, TN, OK, TX, MO, IN, AL.
