JOB SUMMARY: Adjunct trainers serve as part-time training staff who operate under the Workforce Development umbrella and offer training for Goodwill clients under the Goodwill Career Pathways Institute (GCPI) and Employment Programs. The Goodwill Certificates Adjunct Trainer supports Goodwill training certifications and classes that serve community clients and Goodwill employees, and includes coursework such as Employment Essentials, Unarmed Security, Digital Literacy, various other certificates, and relevant workshops that support Goodwill clients.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
· Serve as trainer for Employment Essentials, Unarmed Security, Digital Literacy, or various other certificates and relevant workshops on a part-time basis.
· Responsible for facilitation of Goodwill certificate and employment programs offered under the Oklahoma Board of Private Vocational Schools (OBPVS) through GCPI.
· Provide training in all certificate areas on a rotating basis.
· May provide community professional development courses on behalf of Goodwill for the identified training areas.
· Maintain training materials.
· Administer training and attendance records.
· Document completions and outcomes from training.
· Evaluate client/student performance and the ability to address concerns as needed.
· Ability to relate to high barrier students.
· Provide feedback to Lead Trainer on curriculum, class environment, etc.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS FOR CONSIDERATION:
· Associates degree preferred or 5 years or more in associated field of study.
· 1 year of training in one of the areas listed as a training emphasis.
· 2+ years’ experience in working with MS Office 2016 or higher and Google Suite.
· Ability to obtain a CLEET certificate or CLEET licensed (if required).
· Clean driving record.
· Must have valid driver’s license and car insurance.
· Ability to show credentials in areas requested to teach (certificate programs).
· Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with other team members.

WORK ENVIRONMENT:
· Works in a climate controlled, office or retail environment most of the time except for when travelling to host sites.
· Low noise level.
· Travel to company locations as required.
· Works variable hours not to exceed 30 hours per week.
· Must be willing and able to work in a prison and receive security clearance to do so.
